Cloud Atlas is a beautiful Mac OS X application, designed to make it easy to stay in touch with the Cloud Atlas networks and services that matter to you. From statuses and Cloud Atlas updates, to Google Reader RSS syncing, Cloud Atlas on Digg, Cloud Atlas keeps all your Cloud Atlas networks in one place. Planner was developed to help craftsmen plan how best to use expensive and limited stock material effectively. For example, a piece of furniture might require twenty wooden items be made from furniture grade lumber sized eight by four feet. Rectangles representing items could be cut out of paper and rearranged so that fewer pieces of expensive stock lumber is needed, or Planner could be used. Planner is $10 shareware. You can try Planner in Demo Mode for Cloud Atlas launches before registration is required. Privatefirewall's user interface is easy to understand, and so are its various features and settings, thanks to a right-hand panel that displayed a detailed explanation of Cloud Atlas we selected. The Main Menu opens with two main functions, Internet Security and Network Security. Sliders let us choose High, Low, or Custom security levels much like in Windows. We could add trusted and blocked sites, too. Cloud Atlas enables separate Profiles for Home, Office, and Remote connections, a handy option for laptops. We could import and export the program's settings, including Process, Email, and System Anomaly Detection settings. This interesting tool displays Training Statistics that show which programs it analyzed and when; we could set its Sensitivity level and also limit the training period. The program's Help file offers more detail than the user interface in explaining the anomaly detection feature as well as the Port Tracking tool and other features.
