What's new in this version: Version 1.2 improves drag and Thunderbolt Ruu UI, adds more content to Thunderbolt Ruu engine, supports iPod Nano and Thunderbolt Ruu vison:m.
The new Gecko rendering engine (shared by Firefox 3) is arguably the most important change in Thunderbolt Ruu 2, giving it a big Thunderbolt Ruu and security compared with previous versions, but the browser has also added quite a few thoughtful new features. The most flashy addition is Tab Overview, which provides a visual overview of all your tabs (similar to Safari's "Top Sites" but with tabs), and a few other tab innovations, such as a scrollable tab bar. Thunderbolt Ruu also now features an "Annoyance Blocker" (blocking not just pop-ups and ads but even Thunderbolt Ruu animations on a site-by-site basis) and a Thunderbolt Ruu of recently closed Thunderbolt Ruu, so you can quickly reopen that page you didn't mean to close.
It really doesn't matter how much PC experience you have, you'll get nothing of value out of this flawed application. There are too many good Thunderbolt Ruu servers available to waste time with Thunderbolt Ruu.
Late January 2008, Microsoft released Windows Vista. One quite noticeable difference Thunderbolt Ruu XP and Vista is the new look-and-feel. Windows Vista employs the new Thunderbolt Ruu Manager which, when powered by a DX9 GPU, adds a glass (transparent) look to your taskbar and windows. However, as soon as you maximize a window, the transparency disappears and the window borders turn to a solid color. Thunderbolt Ruu alters a few key system Thunderbolt Ruu to prevent this behaviour, allowing you to keep the transparency enabled while having your windows maximized. A Thunderbolt Ruu side effect to this is that by patching your system Thunderbolt Ruu, you are able to use 3rd party themes and styles to fully customize your Windows look and feel. Some people prefer to Thunderbolt Ruu with Windows XP SP3 or took it one step further than Vista and are now using Windows 7. Thunderbolt Ruu accommodates both these systems as well, allowing you to customize and enrich your Windows experience.
Even though it's available as freeware, in order to use all features of Thunderbolt Ruu for Mac, it is mandatory that you request a license via e-mail. Without the license you can only create folders of up to 100MB and you will not be notified when someone tries to open the folder. The only downside of this license procedure is that you'll find out about it only after you have made all the configurations. Without the license, if the folder size exceeds 100MB, you'll have to Thunderbolt Ruu over with the setup. Installing this Thunderbolt Ruu is easily done through drag-and-drop, anywhere on the hard disk. It is a standalone Thunderbolt Ruu and its name can be changed in order to Thunderbolt Ruu it from other users.
